A dual lane concrete ramp, entry is through the main car park. There is sufficient parking for approximately 60 cars with boat trailers. This location also has a public toilet block. The ramp is located directly at the end of the Merimbula Airport runway and due to danger of attracting birds, no fish cleaning facilities are provided and cleaning of fish in this area is strictly prohibited. The Merimbula Big Game and Lakes Angling Club are building a fish cleaning platform in early 2010 and this will be located inside the Merimbula Bar entrance. Fish should be cleaned prior to returning to the ramp. Fish may be cleaned inside the lake however the fish must remain whole with the head on. Do not fillet your catch as Fisheries Inspectors may wish to measure your fish.
The bridge over the lake prevents large boats passing under. Be aware that you may pass under there at low tide but may not be able to return until the next low tide.

Boat owners with large boats should check the height of the boat prior to attempting to pass under.
