Tips:

Bream are Strong Hearty fish but utmost care should be used when, handling or keeping them alive to ensure their survival.

A live well is obviously the best way to preserve the health of your Bream for release however, a large esky with an aerator and regular water change will suffice.  The aim is to preserve the fish, catch them as a sport and release them, or just take a photo on a NSW Fisheries Bragmat.  These are available from the NSW Fishing Licence Trust by contacking John Wittikar or Lindon Thompson.

Please try to handle the fish as little as possible, use a wet rag to protect the loss of slime the first layer above the scales when handling, thus peventing infection. Bream fishing is one of the biggest growing sports in Australia, look after them thay don't taste that good, for thier growth rate.
