With over thirty-five boats in the tag and release section, this month certainly shows an increase in the number of fish being tagged on Zone days.  Well done to everyone and there was a vast difference in points from over ninety-nine thousand to just over two thousand.  Well done everyone and I am just sorry that you cannot all get points! There were also a heap of Marlin captured so it has been quite a competitive month.

Both the Batemans Bay Tollgates and the Bermagui Blue Water Classic were good for the Marlin and they also turned up further north for the Jess Sams at Ulladulla last weekend. I did the radio for the latter and they were pleased to have an increase of boats this year, with thirty eight and a number of clubs represented. “Dadsboat” from Shoalhaven took out the tag and release and “Childs Play” from Ulladulla did well with three sharks captured.

We are still getting requests from NSWGFA for donations towards the auction in aid of the Queensland Flood Relief Appeal.  If you can forward any product it would be much appreciated.

Don’t forget the Southern Zone Interclub 19-20 March.  You can fish out of your own port and it is only $20 to enter so I would like to see as many of you as possible participate.

From next week I will be in Port Stephens for two weeks for the NSWGFA Interclub but if you need to contact me you can either ring or email me there.

Stay safe and enjoy your fishing.

Sanchia
